try telneting to the Domino server

Get the hostname or IP address of your Domino mail server. Connect with your VPN and open the command prompt window.

telnet hostname 1352

You have a valid connection if the command prompt window turnsblack. If it doesn't, somewhere between your PC and the Domino server port 1352 is blocked.

Port 1352 is the standard port for Domino/Notes to communicate.

Regards,
Hans
